Confession.

Fear of failure is something that is innate in all of us. We do everything in our power to prevent failure. We put up walls, we play defense and most everyone carries on. Some people decide to put away their proverbial bricks and weapons to let people in; Be that friends or significant others. The act of deciding to put those things away can’t be done in haste. Unfortunately that was what I fell “victim” to. I feel like the City of Troy and I fell for the Trojan Horse. I should have known what it is and didn’t see it and or didn’t want to believe it. It’s odd because it was such a short time but when you let your guard down it feels like forever. I feel deceived. Life goes on and time heals.

We wish for so many things in life but there will not be a genie now nor ever. Writing has become very therapeutic for me. I’ve been mostly writing in my little Moleskine notebook. Music is always a great outlet and I recommend it to everyone. 

This is the lesson in life you learn. If you decide to let your guard down, make sure they’re willing and ready also. If not, than you’ll be getting gifts from the Greeks. 

My nerves will be the death of me because I don’t want to be alone tonight.
